Youth Action Board Retreat 2005

Mayor Charles Wade took time out of his busy schedule to answer the questions of the Youth Action Board members.

Eric Busey talked to the Youth Action Board
about Beans and Rice as well as volunteerism. 

The members of Group 2 especially enjoyed conversing with the superintendent of their school system, Dr. Don Stowers.

The members of Group 2 enjoyed learning about Officer Meredith's efforts to prevent underage drinking in Pulaski.

Group 2 stopped into Martin's Pharmacy to offer their congratulations to pharmacist, Eddie Hale.  Hale was recently recognized by New River Valley Community Services for his numerous contributions to the community.

Group 2 takes a quick break from the Amazing Race to take a picture in front of the historic Pulaski County Courthouse.

The Youth Action Board ended their Amazing Race activity
by checking out the newly installed seats in the Pulaski Theatre.
